Welcome to the College Station Christmas Parade!

The College Station Christmas Parade is a festive celebration bringing the community together to start the holiday season in style. Get ready to be dazzled by beautifully decorated floats, cheerful music, and the spirit of Christmas in Aggieland!

The parade begins at Post Oak Mall and travels west down Holleman, turns south on Dartmouth, crosses Southwest Parkway, turns east on Krenek Tap, and ends at Beachy Central Park.

Event Schedule

The parade starts at 3:30 p.m. and ends with the arrival of Santa in Central Park on the last float around 5:30 p.m.
After the parade, all are welcome to stay for the official Christmas in the Park lighting with food vendors, Santa photos, hot cocoa, and other treats.

What to Expect

  • Beautiful Floats: Marvel at the creative and enchanting floats adorned with dazzling lights and holiday-themed decorations.

  • Marching Bands: Enjoy the sounds of the season as local marching bands serenade you with your favorite Christmas carols.

  • Santa's Grand Arrival: Don't miss the parade's highlight – Santa Claus himself will make a grand entrance to spread holiday cheer!

  • Community Spirit: College Station's community spirit will be fully displayed as groups, organizations, and schools come together to participate in a joyful city-wide event. 

Participation in the Parade

The College Station Christmas Parade welcomes community groups, organizations, and individuals to participate.
We have reached our maximum number of parade entries and are no longer accepting entries.

A mandatory lineup meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 27, at College Station City Hall.

    How much does it cost to attend?
    The College Station Christmas Parade is free.
    What time should I arrive to get a good viewing spot?
    Early arrival is a good idea if you want a prime viewing spot. Plan to arrive by at least 3 p.m.
    Is the Christmas parade family-friendly?
    The College Station Christmas parade is family-friendly, with colorful floats, festive music, and holiday-themed entertainment that children will enjoy.
    Can I participate with a float or group?
    The College Station Christmas parade welcomes community groups, organizations, and individuals to participate. Participation is free and closes on Nov. 10.

    What should I bring?
    It can get chilly in December, so wear warm clothing and bring blankets or portable chairs. And don't forget your camera!
    Are pets allowed?
    The College Station Christmas Parade allows well-behaved pets on leashes.
    Will food and beverages be available?
    Food and beverage vendors are not allowed along the parade route, but plenty will be available after the parade at Beachy Central Park as part of the annual Christmas in the Park event, which begins at 6 p.m. and features the official tree lighting, Santa photos, hot cocoa, and other treats.
    Is there parking available near the parade route?
    Parking availability varies. Please refer to the map for parking options.
