INTERMEDIATE TAI CHI
The Yang-style Tai Chi class teaches students advanced skills and forms not included at the beginner level. Ideal students will already have mastered basic skills and know Yang form 16. The intermediate level focuses on longer forms and perfecting skills from the beginner-level class. The instructor assesses potential participants to ensure placement at the proper level based on skills and experience.

BEGINNER TAI CHI
The entry-level Yang-style Tai Chi course is for students of various skill levels. More knowledgeable students learn Form 16, while beginners learn foundational movements until they can join more experienced students in Form 16. Course material includes balance and flexibility improvement, movement guidelines applicable to all Tai Chi styles, and Yang-style Tai Chi movements, which can be adapted if a participant has physical limitations.

Many older adults are concerned about falling, so they restrict their activities. Area Agency on Aging's 8-week program is designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. You'll learn to view falling as preventable, make lifestyle changes to reduce risks, improve home safety, and exercise to increase strength and balance.
