Committee, Board, and Commissions 101 is designed to help citizens better understand the requirements, duties, and limitations of serving on one of the city’s many meeting bodies. We will also cover the role of city staff, how these meeting bodies help with the important issues facing our city and answer your questions. Our goal is to help potential applicants understand what’s expected if they are appointed. If you are considering applying to serve, we invite you to attend the seminar on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in the City Hall Bush 4141 Community Room. We will commence at 6 p.m. and aim to conclude by 7:30. The filing period ends at 5 p.m. on December 28th.
